A Trip to Town.................

Dia Duit, recently I drove DD to see her specialist in Melbourne......we left early morning to try and avoid...the traffic snarls.......DD is going to a wedding early next year in Bali......her beloved Nana gave her a David Jones voucher...to help pay for her dress............what a discerning shopper she is.....not at all like her mama......grin.........
I found a gorgeous chiffon dress with lovely beading on the front.......very flattering for her figure.....but no......she set it aside.....so then we went next door to Myers.....and tried on a zillion dresses.........grin.....
yes we went back to David Jones for the one I had chosen........grin...

We still had a few hours to spare......so I said I would love to visit Lucello....I love Kim's studio.....DD knows me well.....and said I had half an hour there......I chose some beautiful ribbons which I hope to make a rosette.........remember as a child playing with paper dolls...how I could I pass up Ava Gardner..........some of my beloved 1930's buttons,  repro early vintage Christmas Cards, Vintage Christmas Gift Card kits and lastly an antique bone needle to add to my collection...........it actually forms holes in your fabric when you are doing embroidery....

It was beautiful Spring Day, we still had two hours to spare.....so I said how about we travel the city on the Circle Tram....walk up to the hospital.....and on the way ....in one of the food halls have lunch...it was lovely to spend sometime with DD.........

SlaƱ, O'faigh
