12 Days of Christmas- Christmas Through the Year January Finish

Dia Duit, recently I participated in the Twelve Days Of Christmas, that was featured on Temecula Quilt Blog.
These two mini quilts are ear marked for Christmas Presents....
After, recently working on larger projects, it was a welcome change to work on  miniature blocks.
With the cutting of each block, there were small amounts of leftover pieces, hence my decision to duplicate the blocks,so there was no wastage.
The Quilt on the left, I have decided to unpick the central borders....and replace them with the cream floral print fabric. My thought was the original borders do not pick out the blocks.

Yesterday, mid afternoon I had a lovely visit from Shez, from Enjoying Life Blog. It was a first time meet, and hope that we catch up again

I like the fabrics you used for the quilt. And how nice that you were able to get two quilts from your pieces. One for you and one for a gift maybe.

Hello Lyn,

Love your mini quilt, I sometimes think it is harder to get the colours rights when everthing is so small and you did it perfectly. Glad you were able to meet up with Shez.
Have a great weekend.

I like how you put the right quilt together, without the sashing! I'll have to see if that works out fine for mine. Will send you a picture of it soon (o: xo
PS: Loved Friday!!!!
