Giveaway to Celebrate Australia Day - Closed

Dia Duit, to celebrate Australia Day, on a whim I decided to have a small Giveaway. Items are one beach bag, serviettes, stubby holder and of course four nine inch strips of fabric in the Australian Flag colours.(width of fabric) When you comment, can you kindly say what is your most favourite treasure or possession? My most treasured possession would be two jugs.....that are a soft blue with a thatched cottage on the front....they were my great great grandmothers...and I believe the year would we the 1860's. I have to hide them from one of my brothers when he comes......once he picked one up and threw it in the air....I was speechless and very unhappy with his actions...... It is open worldwide. Winner will be drawn late Thursday afternoon (24th Jan AEST). Good Luck. Slãn, O'faigh

My favourite treasure is my grandmother's eternity ring. It was left to me and I am so thrilled to have it, it reminds me of her each time I look at it.

My favourite treasure is a cupboard my grandfather made for my grandmother to house their dinner plates etc in... I now have it in my sewing room and use it to store my fabrics in.My grandfather never had any formal training but give him a piece of wood and he could work magic with it :) Barb.

My favourite treasure is an iron bedstead made in 1835 that my mother remembers in her grandmothers house.
We were lucky enough to spend a wonderful month in oz last November.

The Australian flag colours look great together in your photo. My favourite possesion is a little bowl and glass that belonged to my Nan, the bowl is a kind of colour changing in the light/mother of pearl kind of orange (looks unreal believe me) and a glass with matching orange and blue bits on it. She used to serve us lunch and dessert with these every Sunday and I will keep them forever!!!

Happy Australia Day! My favorite possession would be my treadle sewing machine. It's like the one my grandmother had, so it reminds me of her. Thanks for the giveaway! :0)
