Fussy Friday Finish....
Dia Duit, I loved hand piecing the six pointed stars, over the past few months. Some months ago, I decided to give away the quilts, I had made over the years to family and friends. Since I started quilting, I have made over one hundred quilts. I had given the task to Jess, once I pass on, to find homes for the quilts. However I had a change of heart. My thoughts were, what was the point of them languishing in the linen press. Now they see the light of day and can be enjoyed for what they are. I have a few smaller quilts, and was wondering what to do with this one. Since Jess moved out of home, I have been slowly gathering, to make the spare room, homey for family and friends. One family member has already enjoyed this room. Now, I have a pretty pillow sham to match the bed end quilt.Quiltness, tried a new feather pattern on the quilt for me. Yes, feather quilting is the one I love the most.
Our lps, had some of her samples for sale.grin...I could not miss out on the three sisters dollies......Jess and Rob shudder when they come across my dollies....grin....maybe it has to do with my childhood days, when I had only one doll. It was a scotch doll and I was not allowed to take her out of the box. Then the doll was passed to my sister, who scribbled biro all over her.
A Bridge chair is covered with my Judie Rothermel 25th Anniversary quilt. Keep Warm or Cool as the case maybe.. Hugs, O'faigh
