Promised Land Quilt Pack rethought........

Dia Duit, I have had a few days, busy with sewing. I finished the Postage Stamp Quilt, and gave it to Ness on Friday to quilt .No doubt about Ness, she chooses the right quilting pattern, for the quilts I produce. Thank you Ness.
Over the past six/seven years, I have a formed a wonderful friendship, with Julie from JulieKQuilts.
Last Spring, I was fortunate to meet with Julie, DH and Rosie dog, at the Houston Quilt Festival.
How I wish, we did not live so far apart. Every Christmas and Birthday, Julie sends me the most glorious parcels. Pictured above, are the fabrics from the Promised Land Quilt Pack. The pattern called for a triple irish chain. It was a birthday gift for me from Julie.
Recently, my brother wanted to buy our little caravan. It is called a Little Rippa, so apt. We bought Little Rippa from the side of the road, she was in need of some TLC, after, our reno's she came up a treat. The only draw back, for us, was the bed. Instead of being lengthwise it went across the van.
Now, lassies, sometimes you have to go to the bathroom during the night, nothing worse than the weight of a male body climbing over you, to go.
On the way home, from Queensland, I spied a lovely caravan on Ebay. My words, were, if we are lucky enough to purchase another van, that is the one I would choose. Some things, are meant to be,yes we purchased it.We are yet to take it on a trip.
I noticed, in the new caravans, on the bed, they have a lovely fabric cover. The new mattresses on the bed, have rounded corners at the bottom. The other day, I thought the quilt pack, was the right colourway. Poor Ness, pictured above is the top, the side skirt, was made from one long strip in the navy print. Then I made the pillow sham,to match. I wonder what Ness will come up with. Boy, I hope I have my measurements right, need to make sure I have the curve right when, I join the top and side skirt. Not sure whether to overlock the pieces together or bind them. The pillow sham, no problem, it will just lay over the top and tuck under the pillows.
When I have it back from Ness and put together, I will take a pic, to show you.
