Come on Annie hurry up...... get dressed, get your knickers on and do your hair .....I am waiting for you......

Dia Duit, sometime ago I purchased and fell in love with this pattern on Etsy. Credit goes to De Powell from Oh Sew Dollin.Raggedy Ann in the blue dress was my first attempt. Today, I made the second Annie, for a special friend, who has a birthday in August. I am waiting on some designer fabric, for her dress,  hope it does not take too long, to get here by post. Her hair needs to be, put up in pigtails. I found the knickers pattern too tight, to fit her feet through, maybe they can go knickerless, will wait and see.
It has been a long time since,my doll making days. Years ago, when we lived in Melbourne, I specialised in worldwide, mail order dolls, for an upmarket Interior shop.
Pictured above is a magazine Vanity Fair, published in September 1954..Barb, very kindly/generously gave it to me as a gift.It was great to go back to that time and look at the fashions .
